I’m a sucker for birthday parties. Especially if they are thrown for awesome people like Vinod and Jen. The festivities commenced by 10 p.m, when we all convened at the Hilton in Rockville, MD and struck lively conversation at the lobby bar. After dining on some appetizers, and reflecting on the urbane atmosphere the Hilton seems to yield, we all triapsed into our hotel room.
Party-goers ensconced themselves into the commodious room full of distinct commodities. We had a kitchen, living room, fine wines and a princely bed room made for royalty.
I swear i’m not making this up. After looking around for a bit, I felt like the party was missing something. It lacked Grashoff’s Belgian Chocolate spreads.
Later on, I brought Grashoff’s Gentelman’s dark, ginger, spicey chili and our white chocolate pistachio into the fold. Everyone was armed with tasting spoons, a supple variety of decadent wines and gourmet crackers I recieved from the Fancy Food Show. After everyone polished off their crackers: frienships and everlasting memories were formed.
Vinod and Jen enjoyed the Belgian chocolate tasting quite a bit! Everyone did actually. It, literally, broke the ice and brought everyone closer. Dancing, romancing and girl bonding ensued at an accelerated rate.
I was profusely thanked for bringing in my Grashoff themed weapons of mass-happiness to the party. Chocolate and wine are the perfect ingredients for a jovial yet debonair evening.
